Redemption BBQ is Richmond’s best and most authentic Virginia-style barbecue. All of our meats are “beyond organic”—raised humanely and sustainably on pasture by regenerative farmers. The Devil Made Me Do It
A spicy version of our Crossroads sauce.
Unforbidden Fruit
Tomato based sauce sweetened with apples. Based on Northern Virginia sauce traditions.
RVA Sweet Heat
Unforbidden Fruit combined with buffalo sauce, which adds butter and peppers to the mix, both of which were common ingredients in early Virginia BBQ sauces.

Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Orders must be placed by phone or in person and take approximately one hour to prepare.
Our pizzas feature a crispy and flaky butter crust filled with cheese, meat, and tomato sauce. These 9-inch pies feed two people. Available with Italian sausage, pepperoni, smoked sausage, ham, or bacon. All meats except pepperoni are made in-house with Autumn Olive Farms pork. Meat pizzas are $18. Cheese pizzas are $15. You can add one additional meat for $5. Add onions, green peppers, jalapeño peppers, mushrooms, or hot giardiniera for $2 each. Barbecue pizzas ($25) come with barbecued meat (add $1.25 for brisket), onions, and Commonwealth Sauce instead of tomato sauce. Vegetarian smoked portobello mushroom barbecue pizzas are $20.
